The Under 10s met Bulleen yesterday. It was clearly going to be a tough ask to maintain the dominance the boys had shown in past weeks. There were only 5 on the team and their talls were absent. However, their determination was still there as was evident from the start of the match. There was no way these boys were going to throw in the towel.
At first Bulleen pulled ahead but they were pegged back by the focus and determination of the boys and high decibel readings from the parents on the sidelines.
In the dying minutes of the game they were down to 2 players through fouls and injury and the boys still managed to keep the ball at their end.
At the final siren they lost by 2 points but by any measurement, skills, guts or determination they were winners on the day. Hats off to them!!!!
